When we speak about persuasion, one of your goals is to make people discontented and you do this by tapping into their emotions about what they want. You need to keep them focused on the origin of their unhappiness then increase their desire to be happy. What this does is makes them totally delighted as they get what they want and you get them to buy.

The time is now for you to set out and develop your best persuasion techniques to persuade in person. First, you need to develop a relationship so that people will accept whatever ideas are presented as being correct even if they disagree with you.
People need to trust the source. Once they trust the source, they will accept the idea with little critical thinking. Develop a following of people who look to you for information and interpretation of events. Introduce new ideas slowly and gain their trust, then the ideas will be accepted.
